Heather is a sixth-generation West Virginian with deep roots in the Ohio Valley, and her passion for clean water and community well-being is at the heart of her work. With degrees in Sociology from Marshall University, Heather is dedicated to empowering residents to advocate for environmental justice, especially in communities facing severe public health and environmental challenges.
Join us as Heather dives into key topics, including WV Rivers' efforts to address PFAS contamination, also known as "forever chemicals," and the critical work being done under the Environmental Justice Government-to-Government (G2G) Program grant.
